The League of Municipalities home page is a valuable resource info on the hottest issues affecting municipal government in New Jersey. The site includes late-breaking news, a calendar of events, a list of important contacts and League positions on legislation. You can also request copies of local ordinances from the web site. NJPO is an affiliate organization of the League of Municipalities. |
New Jersey State Legislature |
Check here for full text of bills, the state Constitution, legislators' pictures and biographies. Committee membership, legislative calendars, session digests, district maps. There's even a kids' page and an online tour of the Statehouse. The legislative search utility takes a little time to learn. Fortunately, NJPO's Legislative Archive tracks the hottest land use bills with easy-to-use links and a search form that take you straight into the Legislature's site. |
New Jersey Office of Smart Growth |
Find out the latest on the State Plan, State Planning Commission and much more. There's a page on State Plan implementation techniques, the body of the State Planning Act itself and the rules governing the Commission and the Office of Smart Growth. |
