Variances: Proofs and Case Law
C1 vs C2 Variance? What is a “Use” Variance? AICP Certificate Maintenance Credits &
Rutgers Continuing Education Contact Hours

If you are a board member and are NOT seeking continuing education credits, there is NO fee for the course, and a NJPO registration is NOT required.

NJPO is Approved by the American Planning Association as a Provider of the Listed Certified Maintenance Sessions in Accordance with the Requirements of the APA/American Institute of Certified Planners.  AICP Credits are included in a Professional NJPO Membership.

The Rutgers Center for Government Services has approved several NJPO sessions at the League of Municipalities Conference for certificate holders renewing their Rutgers issued Planning/Zoning Board Secretary, Zoning Official, and/or Land Use Administrator Certificate(s).  To receive renewal credit, participants must follow the attendance procedures directed by the League and NJPO to obtain a session attendance certificates for their Rutgers renewal application packet.  CEU fees are based on NJPO Membership.**

**If your municipality maintains a unified membership with NJPO then all municipal employees are covered by that membership and may attend the sessions free of charge. Professional planners who are board members are covered for AICP CM credits or Rutgers CEUs. However, Professional consultants to the municipality are not covered by the municipal membership and are responsible for their own registration and payment.

You must register with the League to gain entry into the Convention Center.  Please note that NJPO fees are not included in your League Registration fee.
